What do you propose?
Happymove offers a convenient, simple alternative and eco-citizen traditional moving boxes offering the rental of reusable plastic trays hundreds of times and dollies fitted.
The boxes are delivered directly to the customer only has to fill and relocate. Once the move is complete, the bins are retrieved to the new address.
The time taken to buy, install, complete, wear and remove the cardboard is divided by 6, as the stress and fatigue associated with moving.
In 1 minute and 3 clicks, you can order your bins online, choose your dates and delivery times and simplify your life.
How did you get the idea?
When moving from a friend who had rented tanks in the United States, we were amazed at how easy it had been "doing the boxes", move the bins (with dollies). And not having to get rid of 50 boxes after a move saves a lot of time and energy.
What convinced you to get started and create this project?
It simplifies the move so that most people will move like that in the coming years, so long as it is with us!
How long did you start this project?
A little over a year.
Why do your customers they need your service?
The move is the third source of stress for the French (after the death of a close and dismissal). Happymove aims to simplify and reduce the stress of moving by providing a convenient, affordable and sustainable alternative to cardboard.
100 million boxes are used each year in France by 3 million households that moved.
However:
1 - the box is not an ideal containing: surface protection, assembly / disassembly time-consuming, complicated manipulation, generating a lot of waste (only one of two cardboard is recycled).
2 - find boxes, handle and dispose of part of the most time-consuming steps and energy when moving.
What is your target heart?
Our offer is aimed at both individuals (women are at the moment 80% of our customers) to companies located in Ile de France.
How are you going to let you know about your customers?
The moving industry is not very sexy, we chose to use an offbeat both on the website and on social networks, or for the rest of our communication.
How money do you earn?
The business model is the location: the containers are rented for periods ranging from one week to several months.
What technologies do you use?
A small portion of the site was made in WordPress and everything else has been a classic dedicated development.
What are your needs?
We are looking for prescribers to accelerate the development of our knowledge.
What are the plans for the company (resale, Ipo, anything)?
The adventure has just begun, we still have many things to do.
Who are your main competitors? (If so, there is always a competitor)
Vendors cartons online and offline, "false" movers.
How you stand out from your competitors?
We are the only company to offer this service in Ile de France.
What are your advantages over your competitors?
We save time and reduce stress to our customers at an attractive price.
Where do you see the company in a year?
In one or two other provincial cities.

Moving companies
Only other options I know of, and I've only dealt with international moves, is to get online and check out some of the sites which will give you estimates for having everything moved. You estimate boxes, etc. with a check list, provide the cities for pick up and delivery and then you'll receive estimates from various companies. It isn't a hard sell type thing and gives you an idea of what a moving company method would cost you. There are also services where they bring a container (can be quite small) to your home and you pack your own stuff.
No advice on U Haul since I think most of their trucks are complete crap, and I wouldn't cross country in one of them

Using ONLY supplies from Home Depot or Lowe's, is it realistic, or even possible for two people, using only their hands, a truck, and a floor plan, to construct an entire house by themselves? If so, what will the cost be compared to buying the house already made?
Think about it this way. Are you a plumber? Are you an electrician? Are you a mason? Are you a carpenter? Are you a cabinet maker? Are you a finish carpenter? Are you a roofer? Are you a heating/cooling technician? Are yo … yes its possible , almost anything is possible, IF you are able to do all the jobs that I mentioned above with average competency. Otherwise forgo the ulcers, headaches and high blood pressure and let the pros handle it.
